On August 16th, 2023 at approximately 10:55am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted a case management inspection in response to a written request received from licensee Tal Tamir, to increase of capacity. LPA met with licensee, Tal Tamir and explained the purpose of the inspection. There are no children present. First day of school is August 23, 2023.

Facility has requested to increase capacity from 120 to 200 school age children. Facility is licensed in rooms #B2, E1, E2, E3, F1, F2, F3, G3, G6, and Multipurpose Room (MPR). Per licensee, this year the facility has been assigned to use E1, F1, F2, F3, G3, G6, and MPR. The program, being a school age program and operating on a functioning school site, is exempt from meeting square footage requirements for indoor/outdoor space and the sink/toilet to child ratio requirements. Fire Inspection on file is dated October 2022, licensee agrees to send a copy of the new fire inspection report once received.

LPA inspected rooms E1, F1, F2, F3, G3, G6, and MPR for health and safety hazards. Rooms are still being set up. Licensee is aware that rooms should be free of hazards and will ensure they are safe for children in care prior to using them.

LPA has approved increased of capacity from 120 to 200 school age children effective today.

Fingerprint clearances for staff working and associated to this location are centrally associated to another Newton facility location (Newton-Baywood, license 414001240).

***No deficiencies were cited against the facility under CCR,Title 22, Div. 12, Ch. 1. ***
