25 | On October 5, 2022 at 2:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) April Cowan conducts an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with site director Alexandra Miranda. The purpose of the inspection is explained. There are 34 children with director and 9 staff present. Facility consists of 4 classrooms: Butterflies, Busy Bees, Sweet Potato Bugs, and Crickets.
This inspection is due to an application submitted to Regional Office to remove license's Toddler Component. Licensee requests to no longer use rooms Butterflies and Busy Bees for toddlers, but all rooms for infants only.
LPA inspected the new infant rooms for health and safety hazards. The rooms are clean, orderly and in good repair. Cleaning supplies and other potentially harmful items are stored inaccessible to the children. All furniture and equipment are clean and in good working condition. The center's furniture and equipment are age appropriate. There is a sufficient quantity of mats, table/chairs, and changing tables meet the capacity. Sinks are in an arm's reach of changing stations. There is a bathroom with two toilets and two sinks nearby for toileting for children that are potty training.
LPA approves rooms for infant care.
Center will no longer carry a Toddler Component to license.
