25 | On 12/15/2023, at approximately 8:45AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPA was granted entry to the facility by Licensee, Liliana Del Barco. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. Present during the visit was the Licensee, one helper (H1) and nine preschool age children. The facility is in compliance with capacity requirements on this day. The facility’s operating hours are from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Extended care hours are offered as necessary from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. The facility operates as a Spanish Immersion Program.
The facility is a single-level, two-bedroom, one-bathroom home.
Daycare Areas: Classroom, Playroom, Bathroom, Patio, and Backyard.
Off-limits Areas: Living Room, Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Kitchen, and Garage.
LPA and Licensee inspected the home for any health and safety hazards. LPA observed the home to be in clean and orderly condition. The home is equipped with two 2A10BC fire extinguishers that are fully charged. There is a first aid kit present that is fully equipped. There is a combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the Classroom. LPA observed age-appropriate toys, equipment and learning materials to be present in the Classroom and Playroom. All electrical outlets are covered when not in use. There is a fireplace that is not located in the daycare areas. All cabinets and drawers in the Bathroom are secured by childproof locks. All off-limits areas are secured by childproof doorknobs or barriers. Per Licensee, there are no firearms located in the facility.
LPA observed the Backyard to be clean and orderly, free of debris and other loose materials. Toys and equipment are stored in the Backyard until children are outside. The Backyard is enclosed by a fence that is at least five feet high.
