Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pandora Huffman-Smith met with the owner/director today for a follow up pre-licensing inspection. Also present today are 5 staff. a volunteer, and 25 children. The purpose of today's inspection is to measure the facility indoor and outdoor to calculate capacity and review required corrections.

Indoor: The indoor measures 1194 square feet allowing for a total of 34 children. The facility is clean and equipped with fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, telephone, and first aid supplies. There are two bathrooms for children's usage; one in the church hall that is equipped with two toilets and one sink and the second is in the front classroom (Sparrows) that is equipped with one toilet and one sink. There is an additional sink in the classroom. Total toilets and sinks are 3 allowing for a capacity of 45 children. The facility also has an area in the back that was not calculated in the capacity. This area measures a total of 677 square feet and is used for yoga and other gross motor play. No apparent health and safety hazards were observed today.

Outdoor: There are two sections of outdoor play space for children's usage; the front area measures 1259 square feet allowing for 17 children and the side yard measures 2640 square feet allowing for 35 children. Total square footage for the outdoor play areas are 3899 allowing for 52 children.

All facility furnishing and equipment, indoor and outdoor, appear to be safe and in good condition and there is sufficient cushioning underneath the play structure.

The facility has met all requirements and will be licensed as of today's date.
