Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marie Rodriguez conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with Co-Director Ashley Vendel and explained purpose of inspection. Present at the school were the Co-Director, six teachers, and 26 preschool age children. School is operating within capacity requirements and in compliance with child to staff ratio. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5:00pm.

LPA inspected school with Co-Director. There are no bodies of water, firearms, or weapons on the premises. The school is in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation and is free of any hazards. All furniture is in good condition. Classrooms are separated by age group. Toddler room has age group of 2-3 year olds. Main room is separated by a large divider and holds 3-4 year olds on the left side and 4-5 year olds on the right side. Each classroom has age appropriate toys and equipment. Napping equipment is in good condition and properly stored when not in use. Bathroom in Toddler room has one toilet and one sink. Bathroom next to main room has two toilets and one sink. Bathrooms appear to be clean, in good repair, and free of any hazards. There is an extra sink available for children's use. Each classroom has a schedule as to when to use the bathroom. There is a separate bathroom for staff usage on the premises.

All required postings are properly posted in front of the office. Children bring their own reusable water bottles and staff refill them throughout the day. School provides lunch and snacks. Menu is posted. Kitchen area is clean and free of any toxins or contamination. All storage containers for solid waste have a proper lid. All cleaning products and toxins are inaccessible to children.

LPA reviewed children and staff records. Ten children records reviewed were complete. All children have a record of emergency identification information on file. Six staff records reviewed were complete. All staff have a criminal record clearance on file. Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificates for Directors and staff have expired. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facility has had a hard time finding an in-person class for all staff to take together and is working with R&R's to schedule the class. Co-Director will provide copy of renewed pediatric first aid/CPR certificates when completed.
