25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Schnell conducted a follow up pre licensing inspection to follow up on corrections identified during the previous pre licensing inspection on November 16, 2020. LPA Schnell met with applicant Magda Bachakashvili and inspected the facility. Since the playground construction has been completed , LPA re-measured the outdoor space during todays inspection.
The following corrections were verified and were determined to meet the Title 22 Regulations for Licensure:
-Fire Clearance for 50 children was received on 5/24/21
-Outdoor area has been constructed. LPA re-measured the side yard with fencing and the square footage is 1489.703 sq feet which is enough space for 19 children. A rotation waiver will be approved. The conditions of the waiver reviewed with applicant today.
-Rooms to be used have been cleaned and cleared of stored church items
-Rooms have garbage cans with tight fitting lids and a first aid kit with all supplies has also been obtained. All rooms have carbon monoxide detectors
-Required postings, including COVID-19 postings, are posted
-COVID self assessment has been completed and reviewed
-Director requirements for Viktorya have been received and verified
-Health Screening Reports (LIC 503) forms for Natella and Magda have been received
LPA Schnell also provided applicants with a Technical Advisory Note during today's inspection. LPA informed the applicants of the new Health and Safety Code requirement that water testing for Lead must be completed by January 2023, since the building the facility is located in was constructed prior to 2010. Once the report is completed, the applicants must submit the results to Licensing.
LPA Schnell will recommend licensure of this facility for a capacity of 50 children, ages 2 years old to entry into first grade, effective today May 24, 2021. |
