Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Haydee Caliboso and Marie Rodriguez met with Helena Geng and Rachel Hedrix today for a follow up pre-licensing inspection required prior to licensure during the initial Pre-Licensing inspection conducted on 2/01/21. The purpose of today's inspection is to review the corrections approved by the San Mateo Fire Department. During today’s inspection, LPA observed the following corrections have been completed:

· Applicant installed additional egress.
· Fire alarm, smoke detectors, sprinkles are installed in the facility and at the outdoor activity space located in the garage parking lot.
· Structural space or the adjacent room will not be used as passageway to access the outdoor play area and the facility when children are present. The doors will remain locked at all times.

There are total of 3 sinks and 2 toilets available for children to use. The applicant will provide a request waiver for bathroom usage. A separate bathroom is available for staff usage. All furnishing and equipment appears to be safe and in good condition. LPA’s reminded Helena Geng and Rachel Hendrix to ensure ratio and supervision are observed at all times when children are present indoor and outdoor.

Based on the number of sinks and toilets the maximum capacity is allowed for total 30 children. The following corrections need to be made and submitted for further review before a recommendation for licensure with a capacity of 30 can be made:

· Updated LIC 999
· Photos of additional safety measures in placed such as orange cones and school zones signage.
