25 | On November 30, 2021 at 11:40am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo, conducted an unannounced, annual, required inspection. LPA met with licensee, Hayley Wise and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during inspection included Licensee, 2 helpers (H1 and H2) and 9 enrolled children (3 infants and 6 preschool age). Licensee is operating within capacity requirements on this day. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm.
Licensee rents the home with adult children. All adults living and/or working in the home have fingerprint clearance on file. The home is a single level, family home that consists of open living room/dining room, sun room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, garage and backyard area. The DAY CARE AREAS are the sun room (main classroom), bedroom #2 (activity/nap room), master bedroom (napping room only), bathroom #1 (located in master bedroom), bathroom #2 (located next to master bedroom), living room/dining area, and front and side portion of backyard. The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are bedroom #1, kitchen (pass-by only), garage and back portion of backyard. All off limit areas are properly barricaded with gates and/or locked doors.
At approximately 12:00pm, LPA toured day care areas of home with licensee. LPA observed home to be in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home that were in good condition. There were no pools, spas or bodies of water on the property. The backyard is enclosed with an least 5ft high fence. Backyard is equipped with appropriate outdoor toys. Outdoor floor includes grass and resilient padding. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children in off-limit areas.
There was a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, a fully charged fire extinguisher and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home.
