25 | On February 3, 2022 at 8:50am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual, required inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Viktoriia Volkonska and explained purpose of the inspection. At LPA's arrival, present in the home were licensee, licensee's helper (H1), and 7 enrolled children. All adults living and/or working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Licensee rents the home which is a single-level, family home. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room #1 (Play Room), living room #2 (Library), dining room, backyard, and garage. The DAY CARE AREAS are living room #1 (Play Room), Living Room #2 (Library), dining room, bedroom #2 and bedroom #3 (napping rooms only). The OFF-LIMITS AREAS are bedroom #1, bathroom #2, kitchen and garage. All off limit areas are barricaded with locked doors and/or child safety gates.
At approximately 9:15am, additional enrolled child arrived to the home. Total 8 enrolled children were present during LPA's inspection. LPA inspected day care areas of home with Licensee. LPA observed home to be in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and materials in the home which were in good condition. There are multiple smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home. LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher and fully stocked First Aid kit. All accessible electrical outlets have child safety covers. All accessible cabinets and drawers were locked with child safety locks. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children in facility's off limit areas.
At approximately 10:00am, additional enrolled child arrived to the home. Total 9 enrolled children (3 infants and 6 pre-school age children) were present during LPA's inspection. Facility is operating within capacity limits and ratio on this date.
