13 | On December 7th, 2022 at 10:38AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault, made an unannounced inspection to conclude the complaint listed above. LPA met with Director Beth Hassenplug and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility both inside and out. At the time of the inspection there were thirty-nine (39) children present and twelve (12) teachers.
The Department obtained allegations that a staff member improperly fed a child, and facility does not provide a safe environment for children.
Interviews with parents could not corroborate the allegations and all interviewed indicated they are satisfied with the care their child is receiving and would recommend the facility to other families. Interviews with staff could not corroborate the allegations.
Based on LPA’s observation, file review, and interviews conducted, the preponderance of evidence has not been met, therefore the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted with site supervisor and director.
Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) posted during LPA inspection, and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
Appeal Rights were provided.
