25 | On 05/12/2021 at 1:50 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sylvia Mendoza-Ceja conducted an unannounced tele-inspection via Facetime with Maguy McGuire due to COVID-19 State of Emergency. The purpose of the inspection is to evaluate the center for an increase of capacity to 36 for the Toddler Option Program (former capacity 20) and a decrease capacity to 36 for the Preschool Program (former capacity 48).
Director McGuire escorted LPA through the toddler area and preschool indoor and outdoors.
LPA observed the 11 toddlers and 29 preschool children in care today.
Toddler Program will be conducted in classrooms #1 (1 toilet and 1 sink), #2 and #3 (2 toilets and 2 sinks), including the designated toddler yard and patios #1 and #2. LPA observed shade and water available.
The toddler indoor space 5206 exceeds the requirement for 36 toddlers
The outdoor square footage 3478.077 exceeds the requirement for 36 toddlers.
There are 3 sinks and 3 toilets which exceeds the requirement for 36 toddlers
Preschool Program will be operating in classrooms #4 and #5 (2 toilets and 2 sinks) and #6 (1 toilet and 1 sink), and the preschool yard. LPA observed water and shade available.
The preschool indoor square footage 1412 exceeds the requirement for 36 preschoolers.
The outdoor square footage 4088 (main playground) and patio #3 exceeds the requirement for 36 preschoolers. There are 3 sinks and 3 toilets which exceeds the requirement for 36 preschoolers.
Fire Clearance was granted on 03/23/2021 for a capacity of 72 children.
Licensure effective 05/12/2021.
-Exit interview was conducted with Director, via tele-inspection. This report along with the Notice of Site Visit (LIC9213) will be sent to the via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Director's signature. The LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty. |
