25 | On 3/17/22, at 9:15 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisca Velazquez conducted an unannounced Required Annual inspection of the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Cortney Dasmann, Director of the CCC and explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA, in the company of the Director, toured the interior and exterior of the CCC. The CCC is located in a single level building. The CCC operates from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday. During this inspection there were ten (10) toddler age children supervised by two (2) staff and eleven (11) early year children (2 year old) supervised by two staff. The preschool and pre-k classrooms are divided into two separate indoor classrooms. There were 46 preschool age children present being supervised by eight staff. The CCC has a population of 67 children in care at the time of the inspection along with 12 teachers providing care and supervision and the Director.
The classroom has age appropriate equipment and furnishings available to children in care. LPA observed a carbon monoxide detector in each classroom which were tested at 10:39 AM and found to be operable. There are five (5) toilets, two (2) potty training seats and seven (7) sinks used by the children in care. All restrooms are in sanitary operating condition with hand washing soap and paper towels. LPA observed an operable refrigerator in the kitchen of the facility which contained food. The parents of children in care provide lunch, however the CCC has food in reserve for children should the need arise. The CCC provides morning and afternoon snack. LPA reviewed a posted menu on the kitchen. All required licensing notices and documents are posted by the entrance of the facility. CONT 809-C |
