Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ruth Gull and Christian Patterson made a CASE MANAGEMENT visit and met with Janelle Willis, Director of Child Development at the Santa Barbara County Education Office. The purpose of the visit was to follow up on an incident report that was self reported on 08/23/19 regarding personal rights. The incident occurred on 08/22/19 at approximately 12:45pm. Child #1 was hit by Child #2. Child #1's parents were notified and took Child #1 to the Emergency Room. No medical treatment was required. Child #2's parents were also notified. Staff are closely monitoring Child #2.

During the visit, LPAs also toured some buildings and playground for a possible new center.

No citations were issued during today's visit.
