13 | On 05/13/21 at 12:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christian Patterson made an unannounced tele-investigation regarding the above allegations. Due to concerns over the COVID - 19 virus, LPA Patterson delivered the findings of the complaint investigation via telephone consultation and explained the nature and purpose of the call to Director Susana Del Toro.
Investigation included interviewing Director and review of pertinent documents. Director stated that families are made aware of the facilities napping practices during their initial tour of the facility. Director stated that although the Family Handbook does not currently contain written information regarding napping outside, the Handbook is in the process of revision and will contain details about napping children outside, moving children out of the sun, and sunscreen application for naptime which are already in practice at the facility. Director stated that concerns surrounding napping outside have been addressed. Although this allegation may have occurred, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation listed above is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No deficiencies were cited. The Licensee shall post the LIC9213 “Notice of Site Visit" for 30 days. |
