25 | (3) Licensing Program Analysts (LPAS) Ruth Gull and Christian Patterson conducted an unannounced RANDOM ANNUAL inspection to the center. LPAs met with Tamara Thompson, Site Supervisor and explained the purpose of the visit. A tour of the center was made both inside and outside. The classroom has an attached bathroom. LPAs observed age appropriate toys/furnishings. The children's bedding is stored in individual bags and parents take the bedding home weekly for laundering. LPAs did not observe any toxins/hazardous items accessible to children. The playground has age appropriate toys and equipment and shaded areas. The play structure has adequate cushioning material. The posted menus were reviewed.
Due to time constraints, the annual inspection will be continued at a later date.
LPAs reviewed and provided Ms. Thompson with the Effects of Lead Exposure pamphlet (to be provided to both current and future parents).
There were no deficiencies cited in the areas inspected. The LIC 9213 (Notice of Site Visit) was posted during today's inspection. |
