25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LP) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced annual/random and met with Director, Ms. Maria Suarez. The Center was toured inside and out. License is a combination of Infant with Toddler component. There were total of 22 children present. There are 3 rooms being occupied by Infant/Toddler Class. The playground is appropriately fenced.
CPR and First Aide expires on 2/9/2021. Carbon monoxide detector is present in the 3 rooms. Teacher's files were reviewed. Center was observed to be clean and in order. Children's file were randomly reviewed. LPA discussed the Safe Sleep Concept, The Infant Care Center Napping Equipment. LPA provided the "Effects of Lead Exposure" flyer for distribution to parents of day care children.
Center is not providing Incidental Medical Services Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
