13 | On January 23, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced inspection at the above-mentioned Childcare Center to conclude a complaint investigation. LPA met with Director Maria Suarez and explained the purpose of the inspection. At the time of the inspection, 15 children were present.
The investigation focused on an allegation of inappropriate conduct during a diaper change. Medical records reviewed indicated no evidence to support the allegation. Law enforcement reviewed the medical findings and did not find evidence to support the allegation. The alleged individual cooperated fully with law enforcement. Interviews with staff present during the incident revealed no unusual or concerning behavior. The child’s mother initially cooperated with the investigation but later ceased communication with law enforcement and the agency.
Based on the information gathered, there is insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation. Therefore, in accordance with Title 22 regulations, the allegation is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED.
The report was reviewed with Director Maria Suarez, and a Notice of Site Visit was provided. Should new information or evidence become available, this case may be reopened for further review. |
