25 | On July 2, 2021 at 9:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christian Patterson conducted an announced Case Management Inspection to the facility in order to complete an Increase of Capacity Inspection. LPA met with Janisha Rangel and Janeth Carachure and explained the purpose of the visit. A tour of the facility was conducted inside and outside. There were 20 children present at the time of the inspection.
Facility submitted an application to Community Care Licensing (CCL) requesting an increase in capacity for the toddler component from 10 to 26 children and decrease in the preschool component from 48 to 32 preschool children. The facility currently has one toddler room and would like to add two additional rooms to their license. On June 29, 2021 the Santa Barbara County Fire Department inspector conducted a fire inspection. The facility received fire clearance approval for the increase of capacity.
The measurements for the facility including the additional new toddler classrooms are as follows:
Preschool: 1216.00/35= 34.74 children
Toddler: 936.00/35= 26.74 children
Outdoor: 4989/75 = 66.52 children
Facility has a total of nine toilets, three urinals, and six sinks. Facility has enough toilets and sinks to meet the needs to the children. Facility has two yards which will be utilized. Measurements for the outside space are on file. Measurements for the outside space exceed the requested capacity.
The center meets Title 22 Division 12 requirements.
License capacity increase will be effective today, July 2, 2021 for a total of 26 toddlers and 32 preschool children
