On July 22, 2022, at 1:46 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced 1 Year Required Inspection and met with Director Ms. Yukiko Irie. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. Prior to inspection LPA asked pre screening questions related to COVID -19 and Director's responses indicate there are no COVID-19 exposure on site. This is a combination Infant and Preschool Programs. The Child Care Center (CCC) operates Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

LPA in the company of Ms.Irie toured the Child Care Center inside and out. There were 30 children and 9 Staff present. Three (3) classrooms are being used by day care children. The classrooms have age appropriate toys/furnishings and there are attached bathrooms in each classroom. The posted menu was reviewed. LPA did not observe any toxins/hazardous items accessible to children. The play structure has adequate cushioning material. The outdoor areas have shade and age appropriate toys/equipment. It was noted that outdoor space is enclosed with 7ft fence. Drinking water is available both inside and outside.

Center uses the electronic sign-in/out sheet for each child which was found in compliance. A sampling of children and staff records were reviewed. Staff qualifications and requirements were reviewed and verified. Teachers present have current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificates that expire on 10/2022 LPA verified SB 792 Child Care Adult Immunization record and tuberculosis requirements. All staff members renewed the Mandated Reporter Training which expires on 6/10/2024
