On October 7, 2022 at 10:05 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rona Chavez conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with licensee Patricia Moros and discussed the nature and purpose of the inspection. Together both licensee and LPA conducted a tour of the home inside and outside. There was 11 children in care at the time of the inspection with one (1) assistant.

The licensee uses the converted garage/playroom, den, 1 bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and the backyard for the day care. All required forms are prominently posted for parent's or authorized representatives in the playroom. LPA observed a fireplace with a glass screen that prevents the children from having access. There are age appropriate toys and furniture readily accessible to children. There are no toxins/hazards accessible to the children in care. Licensee states that there are no firearms and ammunition in the home. The home has a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen and the playroom. A 2A10BC fire extinguisher was observed in the play room with a service date of 12/11/2022. The back yard is fully enclosed with a wooden fence. There is a pool and a hot tub in the back yard. The pool has a sturdy cover that was tested by the licensee and the pins are locked and need a key to remove the pins. Hot tub is locked and secure. Licensee has blocked off the path to the pool with a fence and furniture and the children remain on the side of the backyard for play time. Licensee has age appropriate toys and play structures in the backyard in good condition and free of hazards.
