(3) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruth Gull conducted an unannounced RANDOM ANNUAL inspection at the center. Met with Veronica Rubio, Site Supervisor and explained the purpose of the inspection. The center is located on the grounds of Oak Valley Elementary School. The center operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. A tour of the center was made both inside and outside. The classroom has age appropriate toys/equipment and furnishings. The bathrooms are located nearby and staff accompany the children to the bathrooms. LPA did not observe any toxins/hazardous items accessible to children. The outdoor playground area has age appropriate toys/equipment. The play structure has adequate cushioning material. LPA reviewed the posted menu. A sampling of children and staff records were reviewed. LPA reviewed Mandated Reporter training certificates. LPA reviewed parent sign in/out sheets. Site Supervisor and at least 2 teachers present have 1st Aid/CPR certificates valid until at least 12/14/20.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Site Supervisor was reminded that it is her responsibility to know the Child Care Center regulations which can be accessed online at www.ccld.ca.gov LPA reviewed and provided Ms. Rubio with Effects of Lead Exposure pamphlet which needs to be provided to all current and future parents.

There were no deficiencies cited during today's visit.
