LPA informed site supervisor of the purpose for the inspection and completed a COVID-19 pre-screening questions prior to the commencement of the inspection. LPA, along with site supervisor toured the facility, inside and outside. There were 73 children in care and 11 staff.
This inspection is a follow-up on a COVID-19 outbreak reported by facility to Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) on 8/28/22. CCLD provided a Tele - Rapid Assistance Support Team (RAST) inspection on 11/12/2020, where CCLD provided COVID-19 resources, current Childcare Industry Guidance, and a COVID-19 self-assessment guide to the facility.
LPA observed signs indicating masks are required upon entry and latest Covid-19 health protocol. The CCC has disinfectants and cleaning compounds throughout the facility which are readily available to staff members but inaccessible to children in care. Bathrooms have signs, ample, safe hand washing implements, and sinks. Health and wellness checks of children entering the CCC gate are taken, and staff members ask parents entering the CCC COVID related pre screening questions. Children have individual sign in and out sheets with pens for one time use then sanitized. Each classroom has ample ventilation, cubbies are outside of the classrooms with children’s personal items separated. All classrooms have quarantine protocol and isolated areas for children who develop symptoms during school while parents are notified. Covid-19 information is shared to all families via BrightWheel App and email.
