25 | On 7/28/2022 at 10:20 AM Licensing Program Analyst Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced 1 Year Required inspection and met with Licensee, Ms. Patricia Perez, assistant Maria Reyes and Licensee's son, Robert Perez. LPA asked pre screening questions related to COVID- 19 and licensee’s responses indicate there are no COVID 19 exposures on site. LPA discussed the purpose of the inspection. There were 7 children present during inspection.
LPA and Licensee toured the interior and exterior of the day care. FCCH uses the family room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, designated napping room adjacent to the family room and fenced backyard. The living room and the 2nd floor are off limits to children in care. LPA observed age appropriate toys, furniture and napping cots and cribs.play yard. LPA observed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home. Bathroom is toxin free. The regulation fire extinguisher was purchased on 9/7/2021. Home conducts and documents fire and disaster drill every 6 months last drill was conducted on March 11, 2022. The backyard is enclosed by wooden fence. LPA observed age appropriate toys and play equipment. No bodies of water were observed on site. Licensee stated there are no guns or ammunition in the home.
LPA reviewed the FCCH personnel list, Licensee's adult son who turned 18 years old on January 10, 2022 has not obtained criminal record clearance. On 7/28/2022, prior to LPA's arrival at the FCCH, Licensee stated Adult # 1 attempted to obtain a criminal record clearance but there was no available appointment.. LPA Reyes reviewed facility file, Pediatric CPR and First Aid expires on 8/21/2023. Licensee and assistant have renewed the Mandated Reporter Training per AB 1207 which will expire on 8/4/2023. The children's records were reviewed and found complete. Licensee checks and document the napping infants every 15 minutes.
