25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection. Licensee was contacted and asked Pre-Screening Covid-19 questions prior to LPA entering the home. Licensee’s responses to the questions suggest no COVID-19 exposure on site.
Licensing Program Analyst Martina Jimenez (LPA) conducted a case management inspection and met with Rosa Delgado, Licensee, regarding the garage conversion to a day-care room. LPA toured the facility inside and out. LPA observed 5 children, and 2 infant in the facility during visit.
LPA was provided a copy of Permits of the garage conversion to a day-care room during the visit.
Licensee is to submit verification of the following corrections prior to the approval of the garage conversion to a day-care room;
- Secure drawers and cabinets in the day-care room
- Licensee is to secure the tools, weights, and garden tools, from the walk way that goes from the day-care room to the backyard play and make the above mentioned items inaccessible to day-care children.
- Secure the 1st hallway on the right by front door, making the bedroom and bathroom inaccessible to day-care children.
- Secure the day-care room door leading to the outside and storage room.
- THE FACILITY AT THIS TIME CAN ONLY OPERATE IN THE STRUCTURE CLEARED UNDER LICENSE.
Licensee will submit photos of corrections via email to LPA Martina.Jimenez@dss.ca.gov by July 26, 2021.
The inspection visit was conducted in Spanish and report was translated in Spanish by LPA Jimenez. There were no deficiencies cites at this time. LPA observed licensee post the Notice of Site visit FAILURE TO POST THE NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FOR 30 DAYS MAY RESULT IN A $100.00 CIVIL PENALTY. |
