At 3:00 PM, This was a Case Management inspection conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martina Jimenez due to COVID-19 and precautionary measures. This pre-inspection was conducted with Ximena Villalba, Licensee, via a tele-inspection in Spanish by use of Facetime.

Licensee requested to increase her capacity from small license (8 Children) to large license (14 children). During this tele-inspection the Licensee took LPA on a tour of the inside and outside of the home. The main day-care areas are Living room, dining room, hallway bathroom and front yard. There is a gate and locks on the doors, making the kitchen and bedrooms inaccessible to the children in care.

The fire clearance was granted on 04/15/2020. The carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm were tested at 3:18 PM and were functioning at the time of the visit. Licensee is current with CPR and First Aid which expires 09/27/2020. The Mandated Reporter Training has not been completed, due to it is currently not available in Spanish.

LPA reviewed the handouts on "A Child Care Provider's Guide to Safe Sleep and The Effects of Lead." LPA provided a Handout for Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Training provided on line at: www.ccld.ca.gov. The inspection visit was conducted in Spanish and report was translated in Spanish by LPA Jimenez.

The home meets requirements for a large Family Child Care license.
The license will be effective today 04/23/2020.

There were no deficiencies cites at this time. LPA observed licensee post the Notice of Site visit FAILURE TO POST THE NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FOR 30 DAYS MAY RESULT IN A $100.00 CIVIL PENALTY
