NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	On 8/13/2021, Licensing Program Analyst Gigi Reyes(LPA) conducted an unannounced Required Annual Inspection. LPA met with Licensee Lisa Miltimore and assistant and discussed the purpose of the inspection. Prior to inspection, LPA asked pre health screening questions related to COVID 19, Licensee's responses indicate there was no COVID 19 exposure in the Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA and Licensee toured the interior and exterior of the home, there were 9 children present, one being an infant The home uses the 1st floor of the home for day care. There are 3 rooms and one bath used by children. During the tour LPA observed the following, required forms are posted in the prominent location. Appropriate fire extinguisher was last serviced on 4/8/2021. Dual Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors was observed. Toxins are locked inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed clean, safe and age appropriate toys and equipment. The backyard is completely fenced. The fence’s entry/exit gates were secured. Toys and play equipment observed in backyard are safe, age appropriate and in satisfactory condition. No bodies of water were observed on site. No guns or ammunition on site.

LPA reviewed the following documents, Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on 10/12/2021. Licensee was reminded that CPR should renewed. Mandated Reporter Training AB 1207 was taken on 7/12/2021. Immunization Record for Staff are complete. Fire and Disaster drill is conducted and documented, last drill was conducted on 6/26/2021. Children’s roster is current.

LPA reviewed children records. The records were current, complete and possessed emergency contact information as mandated by regulations. Licensee physically check sleeping infant every 15 minutes and document the observation.

The Licensee is not providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS). Policy was discussed. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPAs discussed COVID-19 best practices and guidance. Likewise, LPA discussed safe sleep regulations with the Licensee. Licensee was reminded that it is her responsibility to know the regulations for FCCH which can be accessed on-line at www.ccld.ca.gov.

There were no deficiencies cited at this time.
