On 10/01/2021 at 1:25PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) S. Mendoza-Ceja conducted an announced inspection with the Director Crista Trujillo. LPA met with Director Crista Trujillo. This\\ is a prelicensing/change of location inspection for facility #426216025 located on 3721 Modoc Road, CA.

The center was toured inside and outside. LPA observed and inspected classroom #1 (next to the kitchen), classroom #2 (middle room), and classroom #3. The three classrooms were clean, orderly, and appropriately furnished with tables, chairs, and toys. LPA observed COVID-19 posters posted, parent rights, emergency disaster plan, including other documents for review. Cubbies were also available for children's personal items. There is a First Aid Kit available. The center will be utilizing Brightwheel computerized sign in/out for the parents/children. There is a combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector in each classroom. The outdoor area was organized and set up for young children (patio area, upper yard, bike yard, and mud kitchen).

LPA measured and evaluated the center for the requested capacity 42 children:
1624 Indoor Square feet indoors exceeds the requirement for 42 children.
10,000 Outdoor Square feet exceeds the requirement for 42 children.
3 Toilets and 3 Sinks available which meets the requirement for 45 children.
Water Dispensers will be available for each classroom, including outside.
Shade was observed to be available outside.

Fire Clearance was granted for 42 children on 09/22/2021.
Based on the overall evaluation of the center, the center meets the requirement for 42 children. Licensure effective 10/01/2021.

Note: center was previously licensed at this site and have returned after renovations.
Failure to post the Notice of Site Visit for 30 days may result in a $100.00 Civil Penalty.
