Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Collins conducted a Tele-Case Management inspection via video conference call with Susan Corey , the facilities Director . She was informed that due to COVID-19 situation and "Shelter in Place" Order, this LIC809 Facility Evaluation Report will be emailed to the facility. Facility’s reply to the email will serve as acknowledgement that the report was received.

The Tele-Inspection is in response to facility’s request for a change its capacity 125 the maximum capacity of 171 preschoolers. The day-care recently decided to utilize room all licensed rooms included E110 (Orange room) in the preschool. The facility currently has a outside play ground waiver to allow licensure of the preschool program even thought-out door space measures for 97 preschool children and the licensee is applying for 171 preschool children e facility submitted the application to the Department on February 21, 2020. A fire safety inspection request approval was received from the Santa Clara Fire Department on July 17, 2020.


LPA toured inside facility which included rooms E102, E108 E110, E114 and E118, Rooms: E119 (Teacher's Resource Room) , E111 & E113 (Office), E115 (Teacher's Lounge) and E119 (Family Lounge.) all rooms appear to being used as specified on fire clearance. The facility has adequate toilets and sinks, table, chairs, toys, equipment, supplies, for children indoors to service its preschool population. Out door facility was not observed due the increase in capacity only effected the indoor facility.
