25 | On 02/14/2020, Licensing Program Analyst’s (LPA’s) Manel Estoesta and Mayla Mendoza met with the EVELYN CARILLO for a an unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. There were 8 staff and 47 preschool children present during the inspection. Facility has two other component, INFANT Program #430709778 and SCHOOL AGE Program # 430709960. The facility operates Monday to Friday from 06:30 AM to 06:00 PM.
Furniture and equipment were observed to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that are dangerous to children were inaccessible during the visit. The toilets and sinks were in operable condition. The floors were free of tripping hazards. The kitchen/food preparation and storage areas were observed to be clean and free of evidence of rodents. Food is protected against contamination. All storage containers for solid waste have tight-fitting covers that are in good repair. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided and prepared on site. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Menus are posted and visible for parents to review. . The storage of napping equipment was observed. There are no pools or similar bodies of water at this facility. Firearms and other weapons are not being stored on the premises. All posting requirements are being met. Outdoor activity space and playground equipment was observed to be safe and free of hazards. Climbing equipment is properly anchored to the ground with adequate and appropriate cushioning material to absorb falls. Fire/Disaster drill are conducted at least once every six months.
LPA's reviewed children and staff files during today's visit. Each child's file reviewed contains the Information and Emergency Information form (LIC 700). The staff files reviewed contains the required transcripts/verification of experience, immunization requirement, current CPR and First Aid certifications and Completion of Mandated Reporter Training.
