1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	On Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta conducted an Unannounced Required One (1) Year Visit. LPA met with the Director Tania Trejo and explained the nature of the site visit. There were no School Age child present on this visit. Facility operates from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The facility is a combination center which has an Infant and a Preschool component/program on site. The facility has shared office space, food-preparation space, storage space and any other general-purpose space. LPA toured the facility to conduct a health and safety inspection with the Director. The child care center is clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. The Licensee submitted a Room Change Application replacing the School Age Room to an Infant Classroom and request to cancel the School Age License. As per the Director, the facility did not have enrolled School Age children since Summer 2021. LPA discussed the Licensee's Pending Room Change Application, Outdoor Play Area Waiver, American Rescue Plan Act Survey and Child Care and Development Infrastructure Grant Program Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.For licensing updates, please email childcareadvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov and request to be added to the email list. Previous Provider Information Notices (PINs) - Child Care Licensing Program (CCLP) are available at the CCLD website and other helpful information at https://cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
