Licensee does not transport children at this time, but understands that children cannot be left alone and unattended in parked vehicles.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual- Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. The adults living in the home are Licensee, her spouse, and her mother. All adults have cleared criminal record, child abuse index, and TB. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Licensee will submit the following to Licensing:
- an updated LIC 279 by 11/05/2021 to reflect the changes to the adults living in the home
- Mandated Reporter Training certificate for Jeanette
- immunization record for measles and pertussis for Jeanette
As a result of this inspection, a technical violation were cited. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Irma Covarrubias, where this report and technical violation were discussed and provided. Appeals rights were provided to Licensee during today's inspection.
A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
