32 | LPA reviewed sign in/out sheets. The teacher child ratio was in compliance. Drinking water indoor is via individual water bottles. The center provides morning and afternoon snacks. Snacks are prepared in the classrooms. Parents have the option to purchase lunch from Taste Nutrition or to bring lunch for their children. There is a trash can with tight fitting cover in each room for the disposal of solid waste. Cleaning products are stored in a the upper cabinet in each room inaccessible to children. There is an have in-house janitors that clean the facility in the evenings . There is at least one functioning carbon monoxide detector at the facility. Assistant Director states that there are no weapons on the premises.
LPA observed wood chips around and under climbing structures as resilient material. Shade is provided by canopy. Drinking water outdoor is via drinking fountains. LPA did not observe any bodies of water.
LPA discussed Senate Bill 792, Assembly Bill (AB) 1207 (Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training) which is required training that began on January 1, 2018 and requires renewal every two years, AB 633 was discussed with Assistant Director. Licensing forms, Title 22 regulations, can be obtained through the internet at www.ccld.ca.gov. Mandated Reported Training can be accessed at www.mandatedreporterca.com.
Child Care Centers
Marine Trusz was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Application for an increase in capacity form 48 to 60 preschool children is approved pending Management's final review and approval.
