LPA reviewed storage medication and medical supplies and is inaccessible to the children as well as LPA reviewed infant sleep logs. Per director, there are no firearms present on the premises.
A copy of the facility personnel and children’s roster, Sign In and Out documentation was obtained. LPA reviewed the file of 5 children enrolled in the program and 5 staff members files, who are fingerprint cleared and associated, completion of Mandated Reporter training as well as proof of immunization's. All staff have current CPR/First Aid certificates, and proof of education and/or experience was also present.
The center also conducts and documents fire and earthquake drills once every month and the logs show that drills were last conducted September 2021. The Director was reminded that baby bouncers, exersaucers, johnny jumpers and similar items are not allowed in licensed day care.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
