On 12/16/19, an Unannounced Required 3 Year Site Inspection was conducted for this facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Briana Plumboy. LPA Plumboy met with the facility director Teresa Stanton. There are 104 children present today as well as 11 fingerprint clear and associated staff. A tour of the facility was conducted. This program currently operates: Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM with full-time enrollment for children in care. There are 6 rooms used by the preschool age children in care (rooms 101, 102, 103, 104, 402, and 404) which were inspected by LPA.

The center consists of 6 rooms, which are clean and in good repair. There is adequate storage for children's belongings. The heating and lighting is adequate. There is drinking water readily available to children. There are separate bathrooms for boys and girls. All toilets flushed properly during todays inspection, and there is running water, soap, and paper towels available for children to wash and dry their hands. There is a separate bathroom for staff. There are no bodies of water, or free standing water, accessible to children during today's inspection. Per Director, there are no firearms on the premises of the child care center. The food preparation area is clean, free from hazards and adequately equipped. There is a menu posted, and there are no cleaning supplies stored with food. The center provides am/pm snack. There are ample mats and sheets available for children's use. The playground was toured and per Director is being maintained by the schools maintenance and playground safety inspectors. All required documents are posted for public review. The center is in compliance with the sign in and out procedure. Disaster drills are being conducted at least once every 6 months, and the log indicates the last fire drill was documented on 09/17/19. The center is equipped with a first aid kit, working telephone, carbon monoxide detector, pull down fire alarm and multiple fire extinguishers which meet regulation standards.

The center roster was reviewed, and a copy was obtained. 10 children's files and 3 staff files were reviewed. All staff have been fingerprint cleared and associated to this center. All staff have provided mandated reporter training. At least one opening/closing staff member has a current CPR/First Aid certificate.
