13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Cortney Nelson and Sheena Chin, met with Site Director, Megan Eitzen, and Head of School, Ramyaa Venkatesh, and explained purpose of visit- deliver complaint investigation findings for the above allegation. LPA was admitted into the facility by office staff upon arrival.
LPA Nelson conducted interviews with current and former staff members, the Site Director, and children attending the facility. No children interviewed expressed that their personal rights are violated by a staff member. Staff members and the Site Director did not indicate any concerns regarding staff employed at the facility. Only one former staff member expressed concerns regarding a staff member at the facility. LPA observed a classroom on 11/7/2023 and did not observe teachers violating children's personal rights. Based on the available evidence, it is concluded that although the allegation listed above may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. The allegation is thus UNSUBSTANTIATED.
As a result of this investigation, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Site Director, Megan Eitzen, and Head of School, Ramyaa Venkatesh.
A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
