25 | On Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1:40 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta
conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year visit. LPA met with Licensee Anjana Dave an explained the nature of the site visit. Present on this visit were one (1) infant, Licensee's spouse and Licensee's daughter. The home’s operating days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
LPA toured the home to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection with the Licensee. The home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. Facility maintains telephone service. Facility’s License and Notification of Parents’ Rights were observed to be posted. LPA discussed with Licensee about the personal rights of children in care. LPA did not observe flies, other insects, and rodents during today’s inspection. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, sharps, and other items that are dangerous to children in care were stored inaccessible and/or out of reach of children. LPA reminded Licensee that poisons need to be locked up. The observed children’s toys, play equipment and materials were in good condition. Furniture and equipment, such as tables, chairs, feeding chairs, and step stool, etc. were age appropriate and in good condition. There were no baby walkers observed. Bathroom for children's use was sanitary. Licensee stated that Licensee prepares food and snacks for the children. No bodies of water was observed.
At 1:50 am, LPA observed a gate on the bottom part of the stairway to prevent access to the second story and gate on the Day Care Room by the door.
ON LIMIT AREAS - The Play Room, Living Room, Kitchen, Hallway Bathroom and the Backyard. The backyard play area is completely fenced.
OFF LIMIT AREAS - The entire second floor, the bedroom next to the play room and the garage which will be inaccessible to children in care by closed and or locked doors and or a fence with visual supervision.
