13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Cortney Nelson, met with the Supervisor, Rocio Blankenship, and explained purpose of visit- deliver complaint investigation findings for the above allegations. LPA was admitted into the facility by Rocio upon arrival.
LPA Nelson conducted interviews with the staff, including teachers, family service advocate, and supervisor, as well as current and former parents. LPA reviewed pertinent documents such as toilet training plan, ouch reports, and attendance records. The facility has a toilet training plan where staff do not wipe children in care, which was known by all parents interviewed. There was not a preponderance of evidence to suggest staff are hitting children or failing to meet diapering needs. Based on the available evidence, it is concluded that although the allegations listed above may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. The allegations are thus UNSUBSTANTIATED.
As a result of this investigation, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Supervisor, Rocio Blankenship.
A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
