On 9/8/21 at 10:39am, LPA Briana Plumboy met with Director Grace Corpuz for an unannounced annual 1 year inspection. The center and playground were toured by LPA Plumboy along with center Director Grace Corpuz to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. There were 30 preschool age children present during the visit as well as 9 staff who are all fingerprint cleared and associated to the center. Hours of operation are from 7:30AM-6:00PM, Monday through Friday.

The center appears to be safe, clean and in good repair. There is adequate storage for children's belongings. There is adequate furniture, toys and activities, which are age appropriate and in good condition. The heating and lighting is adequate. There is drinking water readily available to children. There are combined bathrooms for boys and girls. All toilets flush properly, and there is running water, soap, and paper towels available for children to wash and dry their hands. There is a separate bathroom for staff. There are no bodies of water, or free standing water, accessible to children during today's inspection. The food is prepared on-site in the kitchen and the preparation area is clean and adequately equipped. There are menus posted, and there are no cleaning supplies stored with food. There are mats and sheets available for children's use, and they are stored properly. The playground has safe and age appropriate equipment. The playground equipment displays manufacture labels from KOPAN INC which state the playground equipment is designed for ages 2-5 years old. All required documents are posted for public review. The center is in compliance with the sign in and out procedure. Disaster drills are being conducted at least once every 6 months, and the log indicates the last one done was in 4/2021. The center is equipped with multiple first aid kits, working telephones, a carbon monoxide detector, pull down fire alarms and fire extinguishers. LPA Plumboy observed the interaction between the staff and children in care, and found it to be in compliance with the Title 22 Regulations.

The center roster and Lic. 500 was reviewed, and a copy was obtained. At 11:42am, a review of 5 children's files and 4 staff files was completed.
