25 | On July 11, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Kaur, conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with Licensee Srilakshmi Mamidipaka. The purpose of the inspection was explained and granted entry to the home by the Licensee. There are no children in care with Licensee. The Licensee owns this single-family home. Day Care Areas; the living room, dining room, play room, the bathroom, and the backyard. Backyard is under construction. licensee does not have any kids enrolled yet. Off Limit Areas are the garage, family room, the kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Hours of operations are Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
LPA and Licensee inspected the daycare areas for health and safety hazards. During the inspection, LPA observed the following: The daycare area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment for the children. The home has adequate lighting and ventilation. The house has a working smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher. First aid supplies are available for children. Per Licensee, there are no firearms, weapons, in the home. LPA observed no pools, spas, or other bodies of water on the premises. Licensee has dog. Licensee will provide food and snacks to children. The Licensee had posted all the required forms (i.e., License, Notification of Parent's Rights, Earthquake preparedness checklist, and Notification of Personal Rights).
LPA reviewed 2 previous children's records. LPA observed that the Licensee maintained records of each child accordingly; identification and emergency information, consent for medical treatment, and parent's rights were appropriately completed. The Licensee maintained a record of immunization, and CPR & First Aids training for all staff are valid. |
