32 | At 3 pm, during the home inspection, LPA observed 5 children were on a high chair. The children not eating and appeared to just woke up from napping. The Licensee was in violation of Personal Rights Section 102423(a)(2), see LIC 809 D for Type B deficiency.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

LPA discussed that CDSS has revised the ARPA survey to meet federal requirements. As a result, all child care providers must complete anew American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) survey by August 15, 2023. Providers must complete the new ARPA survey to be eligible to receive any new ARPA-funded investments, such a direct-service and private center supplemental rate payments and $1,442 per child stipends (AB 179).
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
