25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mel Matos met with Tiffany Brunnings, Executive Director, for an unannounced case management inspection. Purpose of today's inspection: discuss playground renovations of one of the three outdoor infant playground areas.
The Facility currently has three infant playground areas (Yard 1, 2, & 3). Tiffany states that the playground renovations for Yard 3 is scheduled for February 1, 2023 to April 19, 2023 (Phase I) and April 19, 2023 to May 9, 2023 (Phase II).
Tiffany states that the dimensions of the Yard 3 playground area will not change. Tiffany states that artificial turf and new play structures are scheduled to be installed in each playground.
Tiffany states that the preschool will utilize the Indoor Park area for additional indoor/outdoor motor skill activities space. Tiffany understands that the Indoor Park area can only accommodate 21 infant children. Tifanny states that Yards 1 & 2 will not be renovated at this time and will available for the children to use. Yards 1 & 2 can accommodate 87 infant children. See measurements below.

Tiffany states that she will submit a waiver request for outdoor space with usage schedules to the Department since the Indoor Park and Yards 2 & 3 can accommodate a total of 108 infant children.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Executive Director, Tiffany Brunnings. No deficiencies issued during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
