25 | On 3/5/2020 at 08:06AM: Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Pete Hernandez, met with Site Director, Cindy Huang, for a Required 1 Year Visit. LPA toured the Facility both inside and outside. LPA notes that there are 4 classrooms for the preschool program and 1 classroom for the toddler option. LPA observed all the required posted materials: License, Parents’ Rights Poster PUB393, Personal Rights, and Activity Schedules, were observed to be posted. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:45am to 6:30pm.
LPA reviewed 10 random children's files and 5 staff files. All files were complete. Site Director has current CPR/First Aid certification with an expiration date of 9/21/21. Site Director understands that there shall be at least one person, with valid CPR and First Aid certifications, on site at all times or present during off-site activities. LPA reviewed the sign in/out sheets and children's roster and current fire drill log. A copy of the children's roster was provided to the LPA.
LPA observed that the teacher/child ratio was in compliance during today's visit. Site Director understands the conditions, limitations, and capacity specifications of the Facility license. Site Director understands that the children shall be visually supervised at all times and never left unattended.
The rooms are clean. Site Director states that the Facility has third party cleaning service that cleans the Facility Monday through Friday in the evenings. Drinking water is readily available for the children indoor and outdoors activities. The children's bathrooms and staff bathroom are clean, sanitary, and operable. Site Director states that there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA observed at least one functioning carbon monoxide detector at the facility. LPA observed LPA 3 fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguishers. LPA observed trash cans with tight fitting lids throughout the facility. |
