25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Morales conducted an ANNUAL REQUIRED visit and was greeted by Licensee. LPA toured the facility and observed smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher. At this time, Licensee does not have any children enrolled. Licensee is changing her hours of operation to, 2:00pm-12:00am, Monday through Friday and will be submitting her application.
Licensee stated that her husband, adult son and adult daughter also resides at this location. LPA advised that all who resides here are to obtain fingerprint clearance and be associated to the facility. They, also, must have a TB clearance, and complete a LIC508 (Criminal Record Statement). LPA reminded Licensee of the applicable civil penalties for those adults who have not received fingerprint clearances, are not associated to the license and who comes in contact with or provide care and supervision to the children. Penalty amounts: $100.00 per person per day, minimum of $100.00 to a maximum of $500.00 per person for an initial violation and a minimum of $100.00 to a maximum of $3000.00 per person for any subsequent
Licensee has a current a Pediatric CPR/FIRST AID (expires 9/23) and a current Mandated Reporter Training( expires on 1/10/2024) Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. Licensee stated that she does not provide IMS services. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual – Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. Licensee has an area where sick children can be isolated from the others until parent pickup. |
