25 | On January 25, 2023, at 10:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with licensee Karla Alvarez Falconi for an Unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the licensee. Present during the inspection were three (3) infants, and three (3) preschool age children and licensee's fingerprint cleared mother, E. Falconi. The licensee is in ratio today. Licensee stated that the facility operates from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. This single story home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. The Isolation area of the home will be bedroom (1), away from other children in care. LPA asked the licensee does she transport children and the licensee stated that she does not transport children.
There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on-limit areas during today's inspection. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection.
The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, and telephone. There's no fireplace or heaters at this facility. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home.
On- Limit areas are the: Living and dining room, backyard, kitchen, laundry area, first bedroom to the right of entrance, hallway bathroom
Off- Limit areas are the: bedroom (2) and Bedroom (3) near the hallway bathroom, shed in backyard, left side of house (backyard) and bedroom (4) past laundry area
