25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Ashley Lopez and Licensing Program Manager, Joel Segura conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA met with Director, Adidi Bouzida and office manager, Aziz Bouzida, who guided LPA and LPM on a tour of the facility indoors and outdoors. The school consists of 3 of classrooms, B1, B2, and C. This program operates Hours from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. This facility has a capacity of 45 children; preschool children ages 2 to 6 years old. Teacher-child ratio was met during today's visit. All individuals present have obtained a criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption. All children were observed to be always under visual supervision of a teacher.
LPA observed the required postings and fire drill log. The last fire drill was conducted on 5/24/23. LPA and LPM observed the facility to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. LPA observed 2 fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguishers. Furniture and equipment were inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. The facility has a cleaning service that is provided by the Church CPUMC. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. The office is used as an isolation area and the parents are contacted immediately when they are feeling ill.
Preschoolers bring their lunches from home and the facility provides AM and PM Snack. Children bring their water bottles from home and filtered water is provided if needed. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, have tight fitting covers on and are in good repair. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that are dangerous to children are stored in high cupboards and are inaccessible to children. |
