Facility does provide snacks to children. Menu was observed to be posted. All snacks are prepared and brought from the Gilroy School District. Kitchen used to store snacks was observed to be clean and sanitary. Drinking water is provided through water fountains.
10 children’s files were reviewed during today’s inspection. The records reviewed include not limited to Physician's Report.
5 staff files were also reviewed. The records reviewed include but not limited to immunization (Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza), education credit, and Mandated Reporter Training (AB 1207). There is currently at least one staff on site with a valid CPR/1st Aid, which expires on 10/12/2020.
All staff are fingerprinted through Gilroy School District. Criminal background clearance and child abuse index clearance are monitored through Gilroy School District. Ms. Lupe confirmed that all staff present are fingerprinted cleared.
Preschool Coordinator stated that she currently does not have any children in care who requires Incidental Medical Services (IMS) services. IMS policy was discussed. Preschool Coordinator is encouraged to visit the Department’s website at www.cdss.ca.gov to access resources for Providers, Title 22 Regulations, Online Licensing Forms, Adoption of new Laws, etc.
No deficiencies were cited as a result of today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted, where this report was discussed and provided to Lupe Vela, Preschool Coordinator. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUE AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. |
