Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Stephanie Rangel and Dung Mac conducted a joint case management inspection to the Facility today regarding reconfiguring of Front Playground. The facility is currently licensed in room C and Playground 1/Front Playground and Playground 2/Back Playground. Front Playground construction occurred at the school to reconfigure the space. LPAs met with Preschool Assistant Director, Mylene Ignacio and explained the nature of today's inspection. Mylene states that the infant center will be open Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The license is for ages 0 months to 2 years old. LPAs toured the inside and outdoor areas of the Facility during today's inspection.

Playground 1/Front Playground: total = 103.583 x 10.083 + 110.667 x 15.5667 + 6.500 x 23.667 + 54.750 x 74.750 + 45.333 x 40.833 minus 276.676 encumbered = 8,599.04

The following outdoor measurements were taken on 1/28/19 by LPA Rangel:
Playground 2/Back Playground: total = 125.750 x 102 + 9.333 x 10.667 + 30.250 x 9.750 + 16 x 6.583 + 4.417 x 5 + 14.5 x 9.167 + 28.667 x 29.167 = 14,317.426
Total outdoor infant space: 8,599.04 + 14,317.426 square feet divided by 75 = (305 infant children).

Fire Marshall Clearance for 16 children was granted on October 2, 2019. Facility asked for a licensed capacity of 16 children. The playground #1 and #2 currently measures for 305 infant children. As a result of this inspection, approval to use the playground space has been granted.

No deficiencies cited today. Notice of site visit issued and shall remain posted for 30 days.
