NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zaid Hakim conducted a Subsequent Pre-Licensing Inspection at the facility today. Upon arrival, LPA observed zero (0) preschool age children on site and met with Ms. Laura Bernal, Licensee Applicant Representative/ Director. The Applicant is applying for a Preschool License to serve a maximum of 60 children ages two (2) years old to entry to First Grade. The application has been submitted due to a change of location and no administrative or program changes have been made. The facility is currently operating under license #430704138 at the previous licensed location. The facility plans to operate on an active church campus The facility has obtained an approved Fire Clearance from the local fire authority for a maximum capacity of 60 children dated 05/29/19. During the inspection, LPA obtained indoor and outdoor photos for the facility file at the Community Care Licensing office. During the inspection the Director has also been advised of the Effects of Lead in Drinking Water for children and Families, Active Shooter Response Information, and has been provided updates to the Mandated Reporter Training Requirement per AB 1207. The purpose of the inspection was for LPA to review the three (3) classrooms fully furnished with equipment, supplies, and furnishings. LPA notes that the facility has installed umbrellas throughout the outdoor play areas to increase access to shade for children in care. The Director and Facility Representatives understand that licensure of the physical plant is contingent on current indoor and outdoor furnishings, which shall be considered in the event of any changes and that Community Care Licensing shall be notified of facility changes when appropriate. LPA obtained square footage measurements during the Pre-Licensing Inspection dated 06/04/19 which are as follows: Classroom 2 28.417 x 20 = 568.34 Classroom 4 40 x 27.917 = 1,116.68 Classroom 3 23.500 x 15.083 = 354.45 + 16 x 3.250 = 52 +12.333 x 13.417 = 165.471 + 24.667 x 14 = 345.338 Totals: 568.34 + 1,116.68 + 354.45 + 52+ 165.471 + 345.338 = 2,602.279 SQFT divided by 35 = 74.350 Encumbered Measurements taken during the inspection today 06/18/19 are as follows: 1 x 6 = 6 + 1 x 7 = 7 + 2.333 x 4.4.167 = 9.721 = 22.721 REPORT CONTINUED ON THE FOLLOWING PAGE (PAGE #2 - REPORT DATED 06/18/2019)

Based on LPA updated measurements subtracting encumbered square footage space from the overall totals, the facility has sufficient square footage space for the requested capacity of 60 children ages two (2) to entry to First Grade. Based on today's inspection the facility physical plant has been APPROVED and Final Licensure shall be granted pending Community Care Licensing management approval.
