Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) James Sampair conducted an unannounced random annual site inspection of this facility at 9:08 am. At arrival, LPA met with facility staff James Kim and Director Michelle Floyd. Director Floyd assisted LPA with a tour of all areas of the facility. Also present were 8 teaching staff (3 aides and 5 qualified teachers) caring for 33 preschool-aged children. The facility is within capacity and each classroom is within ratio. All staff present are background cleared and associated to this facility. All children are being supervised.

The program operates in 3 classrooms that have age-appropriate furnishings and equipment free of broken or sharp pieces. Counters and surfaces, including floors, are free of toxins. There are no hazardous items/toxins observed to be accessible to children in care. Indoor and outdoor drinking water is available via individual water containers. The children bring their own lunches and the facility provides morning and afternoon snacks for the children. A school schedule and menu are posted and food prep and storage areas were inspected. There is napping equipment available for children and children's napping linens/bedding are stored separate for individual child use and laundered at least weekly.

The outdoor play areas are fully fenced. There are age-appropriate climbing equipment and slides in the play area that are securely anchored with cushioning under and around the structures. There are no pools or other bodies of water accessible to children.

There are fully charged fire extinguishers, the facility has a centralized smoke and fire alarm system and a functioning carbon monoxide detector in each classroom. Per the director, there are no firearms present or stored on the premises.
