25 | On 06/09/2021 at 8:00am: Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pete Hernandez conducted an announced Prelicensing - Licensee Initiated Licensee's new location. LPA met with Licensee, Sookkyoung Kim and explained the purpose of today's inspection and to address the licensees request for a Prelicensing for a Large Family Home. Present in the home was one infant grandaughter.). Licensee lives in the home with her husband. Licensee rents the home. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 6:00PM.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's inspection:
In Use Areas: Classrooom and attached Bathroom, first bathroom in hall off of the Livingroom, Living room, Entire back yard except for the east side of the house that is used for parents to drop off the children. Off Limit Areas: Front yard, East side back yard gated, Kitchen, Attached Garage, Office, gated hall way and rooms 1, 2 and 3 with one hall bathroom in gated off area of the hall. Fire drills are conducted are every 6 months. Licensee will maintain a current children's' roster. The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. The home is orderly, and safe for the day care children.
LPA observed a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher. There are working smoke & carbon monoxide detectors in the home with fire pull stations. LPA did not observe any bodies of water on the property. Licensee understands that all pools, spas, hot tubs, fish ponds, or similar bodies of water shall be covered or fenced as specified in title 22 regulations to be inaccessible to children. Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms in the home. All detergents, cleaning compounds, other similar items and poisons are in the garage or out of reach, and are inaccessible to children.
